This is more likely to be a tutorial than a mod. This mod will teach you basis of Cubecart, how its template system work, how to pass variables to template, adding new options to CubeCart settings so that you can try it out on your own and apply it to more complex mod.

What this mod does is to add a navigation (menu) block on your homepage. You can change it to whatever that fits your site. The block can be enabled/disabled in admin setting page.
To change to content of the block, edit navbar.tpl file.
